| - Let me start by saying that Laura & the staff are great with customer service & are funny/easy to talk to so I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1. But let me also explain that the owner is a greedy snake in the grass. This is going to be a very long, detailed review which will explain how crazy he is in the end because I get to explain my side without the owner shutting me down & acting up. I went in yesterday to get custom work done, despite the deal they were having & knowing I'd be paying extra. I got my wristband at 12 & went off until my number was about to be called. I got back there around #37 (I was #46) & waited about an hour & a half until it was my turn to go in. I did not know I was talking to the owner at all (dude looks like a real beat up, larger version of Judah Friedlander in 30 rock btw, hat & all). I tell him I want a few tattoos including a couple behind the earsĀ (I'm out in Vegas because a close friend of mine died at the age of 32 & I had just finished up cleaning out his apartment & helping his family). They were set to be small lettering that said sunshine (my friends nickname for me) on one side & 4*12*18 on the other. He quotes me over 100 for each side...i knew above the neck is more expensive but really? That was way more than I was quoted at 2 other places I went to. Because I had waited so long I decided to go for the others that I'm going to depict below ( the pics below were things I googled to present & have them use as the foundation but b&w). The owner says "he's gonna give me a good deal cause I'm getting multiple custom pieces" & asks me what my budget is & I made the mistake of telling him exactly how much I had which was 220. I had 160 in my wallet & 60 in my bank. They set it up & he says 220. I ask him if he can drop it down but he says no, so then I ask him what about 200 so I can tip my artist 20 & he says no. So I stupidly go for it & run out to get more money. When I get back I paid him but I started having doubts. As I sat there I over heard him quote a great deal for this other girl & now I'm working up the courage to stand up & change my mind. Finally I decide I'm going to get at least 1 of the tattoos (the fire on the log) so that I don't fully waste my time or their time but the owner flipped on me. He said no, that there are no refunds, & I told him that he couldn't do that because no one had even worked on my body. So I repeated again that I would be getting at least 1 because I didn't want to waste their time & he kept telling me no I wasted their time that I needed to leave & I wasn't welcome in the store. I stood my ground & said no, I either do the 1 tattoo with a partial refund or you give me all the money back & I leave. He's still arguing & saying crazy things so the poor artist pulls out his own money & nicely goes "how much was it" to us & tries to help but the owner pulls out his money & basically demeans me while purposefully slowly counting it out. I try to defend myself & he says if you keep talking then you can leave without your money but keeps insulting & threatening to keep my money. He then asks me dumb questions to which I replied that I'm not saying anything because you keep threatening to keep my money. He finally hands me the money & I ask him for my paperwork back ( which has my personal info & ID on the back) but he says no leave my store & you can't come back. I said are you serious, I don't trust you with my info & he says he'll call the police if I don't leave. I then said may I please just have my paperwork & he calls the door attendant to come in & escort me out. I had not been yelling, I had kept calm, was too tired & emotionally drained to even seem uppity enough to deserve any of that treatment. The owner is insensitive, greedy, & will probably reply to this saying "I've given out thousands of dollars of free tattoos so how can I be greedy?" To that I say you shouldn't overprice things just because you smell a sucker & I'm glad I stood up for myself against him.
