Coldwater has come up several times when asking folks about favorite courses.
From start to finish, staff were very helpful and seemed genuinely glad we were there!
The course is in great shape with greens that can actually hold a ball!
We were impressed that divots were filled, bunkers raked, and ball marks were very few. I know, it's how it's supposed to be, but less skilled golfers don't seem to understand that respecting the course directly improves scores. This is a mindful game, and integrity will always be the most valuable tool in the bag!
There's plenty of challenge to this course, each hole having it's own character - and clever name!
Pace of play was ideal, especially for a Saturday and everyone we encountered on the course seemed to be having as much fun as we were!
The only thing that could be improved is the driving range area. The markers need a different rotation so the ground doesn't get so bare in such a large area. Warming up or practice shouldn't be off the slightest patch of grass you can find.
Driving range aside, already making plans to return and get back some of those birdies we left out there!
