This is a nice fun little farm about 40 minutes outside of Pittsburgh to go apple picking and spend a few hours at. They have a variety of different kinds of apples to sample from, where you can purchase a peck or 1/2 bushel bag. Or... you can just get the bag and go picking in their orchard, which is lots of fun. Honeycrisp apples are amazing!
If you have kids, you can get a wristband, which allows you to participate in a variety of activities: rope maze, petting zoo with lots of goats, giant slides, hay ride, etc... It seemed like there were lots of kids and they are all having fun.
We also bought lunch here, and they have burgers and fries and reasonably priced for such a place. The funnel cake fries were very good and they have some outdoor seating. We also got some pumpkins to take home. There's also a farm market where you can purchase lots of goods.
