It appears we should have read that yelps before going to Thomasville Brecksville in Scottsdale. My mother spent over $8,000 on furniture that has not been completely delivered and has been on order for over five months. The custom sectional sofa that was delivered was incredibly defective. None of the cushions fit correctly and they were all crinkled. When she complained about it they sent a gentleman over to take pictures and said they would have someone contact us in a few days which didn't happen. After many phone calls and emails we turned to our credit card company for help. I spoke with the store manager, Brad Chavez who told me that Jen from his customer service department contacted my mother and said they would be sending new cushions and that she was very happy with that. This was a complete lie. He actually spoke with my sister who said they needed to pick up the furniture and take it back. He had promised that Tom Erickson his manager would be in contact with us however we never heard from him. Many emails have gone unanswered. After dealing with this for months I actually spoke with Brad today and told him that we needed to resolve the situation favorably to my mother immediately. My mother is in her 80s and has had sleepless nights over this in addition to a rise in her blood pressure. I explain the physical issues that this was playing havoc on my mother and Brad simply told me that that was silly. When I asked him what we could do to get this situation resolved most exponentially he simply hung up on me. So here my mother, in her eighties, during the holidays, is sitting in her living room with a sofa that cannot be used and no additional furniture because it was never delivered. What is incredibly disgusting is they are sitting with all of her money. I would highly recommend that you never buy furniture from this store! Please let your parents know as well because it appears this store is abusive to the elderly.
