  • So... rebel republic happened. Again. I gave it another try and to my dismay the service was still just awful. They've got a great selection of beers, great happy hour prices, their food is good and the atmosphere is just right. Comfy booths, not too loud but still a great bar. But I'm sorry every time we've gone, the bartenders are way too busy taking shots with their friends or just flat out ignoring you to take your order. It's not like it was super busy, when that's the case I have so much more patience. But when you are just plain avoiding the side of the bar with all the customers and taking shots with your friends while you're behind the bar... it just doesn't give a good impression. Or make someone want to go back. I think I'll have to decline the next time this place is suggested for a happy hour get together.
