| - I tend to be very suspicious of profiles which have a high ratio of 5 stars to other ones ... especially when there aren't many reviews and most (or all) are very high. However, when the spring on my garage door went and the guy I used 11 years ago hadn't returned my call, I had no choice but to call this company, despite my suspicions.
First, it didn't hurt that he was close enough to throw his phone at me from his business, if he wanted to. Second, his quote was well within "market norms", after I had done online research. And finally, he could get here very fast.
About the only "negative" thing I could say about him is that I asked him to please call when he got here, so I could put the dogs into another room, so he could walk through the house. Like others who've come here, he didn't do so and had to wait for me to get to the door. HOWEVER, before I could whine about it, he apologized and said he forgot to call first (so, one more point for him).
The work was done quickly, efficiently, and he was friendly and explained what he was doing. I was a bit surprised when he said our 11 year old garage door looked new ... which made me wonder what most people do to their doors over time.
Overall, highly recommended and any suspicion I might have had about overly generous reviews was allayed by his prompt and efficient service. My only disappointment: YELP offers you a coupon worth $150 for $100 which I saw AFTER the fact. Oh well, c'est la vie!
Thank you.
Oh, (p.s.): Yes, he accepts credit cards and can run it on his phone on the spot.
