This place was a major disappointment. It should just be called "M&M Store with an overpriced, not very good chocolate store attached".
The 'tour' (if they want to call it that) Is a 10 foot hallway with factoids written all over about chocolate throughout time. Not anything about this particular factory itself.. but general chocolate trivia. You walk past a room with a conveyor belt and big silver tubs but no signs telling you what happens in there or an employee to explain the process to you. After you walk the ten long feet there is a woman standing behind a table handing you your choice of free treats (Dark, Milk, or White). Alas! I thought maybe they make up for a crappy tour by having amazing chocolate.... wrong!!!! It is probably the least flavorful dark chocolate that I have ever put in my mouth.
Then, at the store, I thought maybe I can get myself a little souvenir but everything in there is so over priced that I thought I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.. some place I actually enjoyed.
On the other hand, I did purchase something at the M&M store next door. lol
There is also a cactus garden behind the factory, it is beautiful and there were many different types of cactus that I didn't know existed... I can easily say that I had a better time staring at cactus's then inside the so called 'Chocolate Factory' Bleh...
