  • This was my first time coming to Umami Burger and it will probably be my last. The food was okay, not that I would rave about. Prices are fine. But the service is absolutely horrendous!! It took at least 15 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us. After he finally did, taking our drink order seemed like an inconvenience for him. Sitting here at the bar for an hour and haven't seen him smile once. He ran out of fireball while pouring a shot and filled it with some generic whiskey to top it off. When he finally came around to take our food order, we felt rushed and once again like we were inconveniencing him. When I food arrived, my burger was rare and I thought that it was strange that they didn't ask me how I wanted it cooked. When the bill came, I saw that he had taken the liberty to put in how I wanted my burger cooked without asking me. This sounds like a lot of complaining on my part but I work in the industry. I'm not hard to please but the service here was terrible and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
