  • Short Review: THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE 5 STAR RESTAURANT!! Long Review: Nestled within Scottsdale W, a 5 STAR RESORT, is Scottsdale's SUSHI ROKU, a 5 STAR RESTAURANT. ABOUT SUSHI ROKU Sushi Roku is part of IDG, Innovative Dinning Group. IDG owns and operates, SUSHI ROKU, ROKU, BOA STEAKHOUSE, KATANA, and ROBATA BAR. Sushi Roku combines the finest, freshest fish from pristine waters around the globe with the kind of artistry that can only be provided by a mature sushi chef ensuring traditional sushi, together with a splash of contemporary California innovation. Sushi Roku has locations in Santa Monica, Pasadena, Newport Beach, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale. THE STORY I've had the pleasure of eating at Sushi Roku a couple of times, and it never disappoints. The last visit was OUTSTANDING! We started with one of their sake flights (see pic). Their sake flights are innovative and bold, and included some Arizona sakes. We had a couple appetizers, including the A-5 Japanese Wagyu Ishi-Yaki, which is grilled over a bincho charcoal, was the best meat that has ever been in my mouth. Sushi Roku's Wagyu appetizer alone is worth the visit. Everything was unique and fresh, and had DELICIOUS BOLD FLAVORS. We ended with desert, the lemon soufflĂ©, which was not only the perfect finale to the meal, but my photo was featured in their instagram! instagram.com/sushirokuaz (see pic) SERVICE EXPERIENCE The service was EXCEPTIONAL! We were treated like royalty and our main server was so fun and enjoyable, we kept mentioning that he should have his own show. It was the type of interaction that added to the meal, and was non obtrusive, which I always appreciate. CONCLUSION This restaurant is a gem! This is truly one of the best dining experiences I've had lately. As long as nothing changes, I would happily eat here again and again!
