Skip the long lines of the chains who serve reconstituted cliche Italian and go to this comfortable, locally owned and delicious gem hidden in the courtyard at the Specialty Shops across from SouthPark. Top items: 1. Best Caesar salad anywhere. Period. 2. Best app: Frito Misto - delicately and ungreasy fried calamari and zucchini. 3. The bread and beans they serve the table. The bean mixture is over the top amazing. 4. Branzino. Always prepared beautifully. Light and delicious. 5. Ravioli. Delicate. Yumm. 6. Buterra pasta dish. Tubule pasta with sausage and peas and creamy red sauce. 7. Mare. Linguini with shellfish. The manager, Chafiq, is always helpful. If you can get SandI to wait on you then you'll be family. She is an original employee and has treated us like royalty now for 17+ years!
