| - I tried this place for a pedicure after waiting at another nail salon for 30 minutes without even being acknowledged, then was passed up for customers who came in after me. Needless to say, I was slightly ornery. I signed in, was asked what I wanted and taken back to soak, all in about 15 minutes. Already better than the other joint.
What I wanted was a French pedicure, and that's pretty much what I got. She cut and shaped my nails nicely, gave me the leg foot rub thing that I could honestly do without and painted them. I wasn't in love with the French paint job; the white "French" part was a little thick for my liking, but it wasn't sloppy or crooked, so I really can't complain. All in all, given my mood when I walked in, they did a good job. The woman was friendly and made conversation, the service I received, although it may not have wowed me, was acceptable, and I paid a reasonable price.
One thing I will say for this place, they never once turned anyone away, even though they close at 7:00 and people kept walking in. I left at about five after 7:00, there were people waiting who had just arrived but hadn't been seated yet and they were going to take them.
