| - I saw the great reviews, so I decided to bring our dog in for a grooming. Upon arrival, there was no one there to greet me behind the counter. When the lady finally came out she seemed kind of stressed and almost annoyed. There were also several dogs barking in the back, so it made it stressful for my dog. The lady asked what I wanted, and I said a bath and a light trim. She did not really show any interest in my dog. She did not go over pricing or options. She just took him and started going to the back. I asked how long it would be, just so I know when to come back. At that point a man had come out and he starts saying they will not know how long it is as it depends on the dog, and he started going into details on how they go at a pace that it good for the dog etc. I said that it great, I just wanted a ballpark estimate on how long it would be so I could plan my day. He seemed almost aggravated that I asked this simple question. They said the dog should be ready in about 3 hours. They did call just after 3 hours and say my dog was ready. Upon picking him up, he looked good but looked as if they hardly cut any hair. He was soft and smelled nice, so I will give them that. They also said they trimmed his nails. It was $45 basically for a wash and nail trim. Seemed a bit high, but I wanted to get out of there so I paid and left. Before I could even get my dog to an area to go to the bathroom, he relieved himself on the concrete in front of the store. I guess they do not take the dogs out to go to the bathroom after 3 hours? No biggie, I guess they do not do that. When my wife got home, she looked at the dog and said "did they cut any hair"? She then called and got the gentleman on the phone and he said they did not want to cut too much on the dog since it was our first time. He did offer to have us bring him back to get cut some more. I decided not to bring him back though. I figured, based on the great reviews, that they knew what they were doing. No part of this experience was great or even good. Sorry to say, this place did not impress me at all. They seem to be busy though. I will look for a place that communicates a little better and shows more love for my dog. At no time did I feel "the love" coming from this place. It just felt like they want to get them in and out as fast as possible. This place is not for me or my dog, sorry.
