| - My mom, sister and I booked a massage and facial at this spa. My mom and sister enjoyed their facial done by Stacy. It was a five star facial, according to them. My facial was done by Jennifer. Although I enjoyed it, I felt like more than half of the time was spent rubbing my face with oils. Only about 5 minutes was spent on extractions--and trust me, I have a lot to extract. My sister also told me that she got the option for the papaya extract mask, which she paid more for. I wasn't offered that, but if I would have known, I definitely would have jumped at the chance. I love masks where I can feel the burn. Nonetheless, if we had just received facials, I would have given this place 4 stars. However, I am deducting another star because of the disappointing massages the three of us had. We each had a different therapist. My mom and I were both underwhelmed with our massage, but my sister went as far as to say hers was the most disappointing she has ever receieved. Apparently, her therapist was simply rubbing lotion all over her body without targeting any pressure points, using fluid movements, or getting the knots out. She walked out feeling like she had just been rubbed down with lotion without any technique. All three massage therapists were very nice, so I won't mention them by name. But sadly, we struck out three times.
