| - Do NOT waste your money here!!! I paid $62 for a Groupon to get a haircut and single process color. I asked her only to dust the ends a half inch and instead she took multiple inches saying "you have so many split ends that a half inch won't do you any good". So much for doing what I wanted done. The length is also uneven and I had to go elsewhere just to get it fixed. I was going from red to chocolate brown and she told me she would have to use extra dye because my hair is "long" (a couple inches past my armpits". She didn't quote me a price but I wasn't concerned because A. It was single process (only dyeing once vs bleach then dye) and B. Any time I've been told that the extra dye was $8-15 extra. She charged me $40 extra. My $62 Groupon became a $102 Groupon PLUS the cost of going elsewhere to get the already-too-short length evened out. Also, I've never had a problem curling/straightening/teasing my hair despite bleaching and dyeing for over 10 years. Whatever chemical process she did really screwed my hair up because now it's limp, lifeless, won't hold a curl and has zero volume. I literally HATE it and wish I never came here. Not to mention, the owner, Lolita, was SO rude. She called the day of my appointment and asked me to come in an hour earlier or else she wouldn't be able to "finish my hair". Excuse me? Learn to plan your schedule better instead of asking me to drop everything I'm doing and be in your salon in 30 minutes. When I got there at my normally scheduled time she gave me attitude about not coming in early and once again told me she wasn't going to finish my hair (style it). The rest of the salon didn't look in good shape, either - the mani-pedi chairs were cracked and peeling, dust, dirt, and hair clippings everywhere. I wish I would have looked at the yelp reviews of this place before wasting so much money only to hate my once-beautiful hair. I knew I was taking a risk by trying a new place vs the place I always go to, but I've learned my lesson and paid double what I normally pay. Do NOT waste your money and do NOT come here!
