  • My dad was interred on Dec 13, 2013. They take very good care of the Veterans, from the draping the flag over the casket, to folding the flag, and the gun salute. After the gun salute, the honor guard gives 3 of the shell casings to be placed into the flag. My nephew was an O-2 at the time and one of the pallbearers in his dress blues, they gave him the spent shell casings after the ceremony. They also give you the option of going out to the actual grave site to see the casket being lowered into the ground. There is no ceremony or anything at the gravesite. Most of that occurs at the church or mortuary services. My Godfather was interred there in 1995 and it has gotten a lot bigger since then. It's very peaceful out there and we'll maintained. If you give a $25 donation they will provide a place for flowers above the tombstone. They run a tight schedule and do burials Monday through Friday only. So when you get a date and time, you need to make your plans around the time that they give you to coordinate the church or mortuary services.
