  • Do not go here with your apple products problems. I came here with a problem with my iphone 6. It was restarting constantly and I often was unable to use my phone. The manager, William, was very helpful when I first went in. He identified the issue as a problem covered under warranty and had my phone replaced. But this manager seemed to be the only one who knew what they were talking about. First of all, they told me it would take 24 hours for my new phone to be ready to pick up and that they would call me when it was ready. I never got a call, email, or text and when I went in after the 24 hours was up I found out it was ready 6 hours before that point. Second of all, after I put the SIM card in and started the setup process, it told me my SIM was not working and that my iCloud account had none of data including contacts, pictures, etc. I had specifically asked that they check all of my data was backed up properly because I absolutely could not lose any of my data. The manager was not there to help the day I picked up my new phone, so when I asked the other employees they told me there was nothing they could do. I was almost in tears because of all my lost data and they started talking to each other about closing the store and leaving (there was still 3 hours before they closed). They tried minimally to fix my problem, then told me I could try calling Apple but that they would not be able to help me. I called Apple thinking that nothing could be done and my data was gone, and their customer service told me I simply had to update the new phone to the newest software because the replacements that 3rd party vendors have in store are often not updated. This simple fix showed my backups and allowed me to restore all of the data I had. This is a very simple fix that I feel an "apple specialist" should be able to figure out. They showed no compassion for my lost data, did not call me when my phone was ready to be picked up as promised, and they were seemingly clueless to a simple solution, and offered no other options for me to try. If you have an issue with your iPhone, GO TO YOUR CARRIER'S STORE. I wish I would have gone straight to my carrier's store to replace my phone because when I went there to fix my SIM card issue after getting no help from Simply Mac, the worker told me that they never had that issue and he had been there for 2 years, and that their technicians are much better than Simply Mac. As for other Apple products, make the trip to an actual Apple store. Only 2 stars because of the service I got from their manager when i first went in, otherwise I would give no stars.
