  • The CNE is what we call the State Fair in 'merica. They're the same no matter where you go, and Toronto is no exception. I have fond memories of the State Fair as a young child. There was a TI-99-/4A on display there with a speech synth module. A talking computer! That was a really big deal back then! I really wanted to like it, however the CNE was 100% identical to the state fairs I've seen all over the USA. Same games that cannot be won, same crap food and same crap merchandise. Everything is a ripoff. GET OFF MY LAWN!
