| - I can't say enough good things about this place. I've done my rounds at salons in Pittsburgh, from the pricey would-you-like-a-white-zinfandel shops, to the I-hate-that-you're-here-but-we-have-mustache-wax shops. Everyone here is down to earth and has a personal touch.
Sal, the owner, is great guy. One day, I tried to make a last-minute appointment, but they couldn't get me in. Fifteen minutes later, he texted me--because he knew I was in a meeting--from his own phone, telling me they had a slot.
Sarah, who cuts my hair, is an absolute delight, and I always look thinner, richer, and smarter after I leave the shop. Occasionally, I need to cart my young kids with me, and everyone in the shop welcomes them. Not once have they attempted to stab them with their shears; I only wish I had their patients and restraint.
