  • OK. So I read the other reviews, and they weren't exactly glowing. Here's why I'm rating it higher than usual: (1) At the time I wrote this review, I was killing some time here before I meet some friends. Yes, it's a tad noisy. But (touch wood) people are leaving me be. No unwanted attention. (2) They serve Red Stripe here. Not a lot of bars do. Automatic half star. (3) I got my beer within, like, 3 minutes of walking in here. Judging by the number of people here, I'm assuming this is a "normal" night, so that's impressive (or a case of good timing, which - if you know me - is rare). Beyond that, I'm not sure whether this will a place I will visit often. It's just not my scene.
