I've been a customer since 1998. When my rented piano was due for an upgrade, we purchased a baby grand Kimball. Since I sold that beloved piece, I got the bug to play again and I was stuck on an acoustic.
When I was playing one of their pianos, Cliff Vickers (the manager) allowed me to take my time and didn't pressure me one bit. I got to play every single one of their pianos and being indecisive that I am, Cliff made the brilliant move to introduce me to a digital piano. No way in hell would I ever own one as the touch and tone doesn't come close to an acoustic. Boy I was wrong.
As soon as I sat down to play their new Kawai CA-78, I immediately knew this was the instrument to get. It checked off all my boxes: great touch, tone, less space than a baby grand, no maintenance, less than a high quality acoustic, and the fact that I can play at night without waking up anyone. I was considering an upright (since I was so used to playing a baby grand) but the muddled sound wasn't pleasing to me. So Cliff figured out what was best for me. He recommended the Kawai CA-78 and I was sold. The features are amazing and I couldn't be any happier. I visited Las Vegas Pianos and Southern Nevada Music (whom I love dearly) and but they didn't have this Kawai.
Employees like Cliff is the reason why I have been a customer for twenty years. He knew what I wanted and allowed me the space to make the decision. He's a true salesman and a lover of music; the best combination for anyone in the market for a fine musical instrument.
