| - Well its official, I've decided that Walmart will no longer recieve the tens of thousands of dollars I would've spent there throughout the rest of my life. I'll tell you why.
Yesterday, I went to this walmart location to purchase baby wipes and a few snacks for my baby. In an attempt to kill time, I walked by the clearance aisle located near the paint and summer products. As soon as I walked into the aisle, I clearly see the shelves marked down to 25 cents. There were 5 boxes full of mason jar cups. I grabbed 4.
When I went to check out, the cups rang up as $1.00. I told her they were marked down to 25 cents in the clearance aisle. She checked with her supervisor (or whatever position she held) and she confirmed they were indeed 25 cents, because she had seen them for herself.
Good no problems yesterday. Today was a different story. My mom wanted to purchase many more. They were cheap and she was planning to give them away to her friends. I went back to the same walmart today. We grabbed the same mason jars from the same aisle, only the shelves were not marked with the price tags as they were the day before. I went to check out, as it happens, at the same register, and the price per item came out to $2.00. I told then about the day before and how much I paid. The cashier then ask her supervisor and much to my shock she tells me that they are indeed $2.00. She even goes as far as to take a picture of a shelf where there are similar mason jars clearly marked at $2.00. Obviously i cpnveyed to her they were not the same ones. I go as far as to walk back to the aisle to show her the ones I grabbed are in the clearance aisle and she says it was not clearly marked at a particular price so she didn't believe me.
We met up back in the front of the store and she informs me they are $2.00 (like she scolding me because apparently I'm wrong) and I then tell her to shove it. Just kidding I told her to put them back.
I went home to find my receipt from yesterday, and there it is. Clear as day. Mason jar $1.00 then voided out and rang up at $0.25.
Apparently walmart likes to change their prices whenever they want to and raise their clearance prices istead ofor lowering them.
Like I said I will no longer be spending my money there. I'd rather spend mine at target. I'll spend a little more but it's better than putting up with the crap you have to deal with at walmart.
