Entered in the word "brunch" into my Yelp and decided to go with something new. We arrived at Nolen Kitchen around 10ish and were able to be seated immediately.
Our waiter was Alex and he was efficient and polite. We had coffee and water refills without having to grasp his attention. Now that I think about it... all of the waiters were very pleasant and personable when it came to providing details regarding the brunch menu or answering questions. For two people, the total was around $35 which isn't a bad price point, considering the ambiance is a more lush than usual.
I decided to give the nk chicken and waffles a try and I was pleased. The breakfast combo doesn't come with a side, but it's more than enough to hold you over into a late lunch. Also, the topping of the chicken and waffles includes bacon jam... it's a like it/love it type of texture, so I may double check next time if I can get it on the side.
Overall, the food was good and the service was pleasant so I'm definitely going to add this place to my list of Sunday brunch spots.
