rev:text	What an incredible experience I had at this Spa! Its definitely not like any other spa I have ever been too. I had been hearing how relaxing a float tank experience was planning on getting around to trying it. Then, while looking for a good massage therapist after a really stressful week, I found The Healing Path Day Spa. How perfect it sounded to get both for an ultra relaxing day. I arrived to a beautiful space that felt very tranquil. I was soon escorted back to the dressing room and got comfortable in a plush robe. I was taken back to the tank room and instructed on how to begin. Floating was such a neat experience. The distant music lullabies you into a deep meditative state where you can just "Be" and time seems to disappear. If you have wanted to experience what deep meditation is like while floating in physically therapeutic Epsom salt bath - you need to try this! After my soak I took a shower. Make sure to wash your hair out as it will be filled with salt. Then I went to the lounge where I got to relax quietly in a comfy chaise as I slowly came back to reality. Irene, the owner and massage therapist came over to invite me for my massage therapy. I had requested the Signature Healing Path Massage therapy session for 90 mins. Now, I am a full-time massage therapist and have had my own practice for the past 4 years so I know about good massage, so I was questioning on how this experience would be. The therapy started with a foot bath filled with citrus and flowers. It felt so luxurious. She covered my eyes and neck with dry, warm compresses that helped me ground and go deeper into the experience as she began doing her work. It felt wonderful and I was surprised how much I enjoyed this foot massage. It felt like she knew exactly what she was doing and that every compress and stroke had a specific intention behind it. She got so much unknown stress out of my feet and my whole body began to unlock. Her foot massage made me fall in love with Reflexology. Then I moved onto the table. I could feel that Irene was very present and very precise with every stroke. She quickly knew exactly where to find my trigger points that immediately unlocked my muscle tension. She did so many other things that I have never seen or experienced before. it felt incredible! Often at spas you get a good relaxing massage but it feels like a rehearsed protocol and you can tell that they aren't really tuning into your body or doing deep healing, effective work. I could definitely tell that Irene is a very powerful energy and body worker and a true healer. That is not easy to find! It was truly one of the best massages I have ever had - and I have had A LOT! Overall this was an incredible experience. How awesome is it to find a place where you can get a relaxation float, but also experience such a high quality and powerful therapy. This place is a diamond in the rough and really can't be compared to anywhere else I have been. I have already referred her to several friends and will be going back frequently to treat myself. They have a wonderful New Client Deal and I was shocked at the price by the end of my session after everything I experienced. I highly recommend this spa to everyone. If you are truly looking to heal, this is a wonderful place to start.
