  • Like another reviewer on here, I was also lied to. On the 25th of Sept, I checked my upgrade status for the new iPhone 6s online. I saw that I was eligible for an upgrade to pay $299 for a two year commitment. So the next day, I headed to the store, like I always do when I upgrade, and I was informed that I could not do the $299 upgrade because "it was not available to this region", and I had to go one of the payment plans where you pay the entire price for the phone, $750. I said that it was an option for me when I checked online, and asked if I could just do it online. ROWLAND, whom I was dealing with, said no, that it wouldn't let it go through because I live in this region. Well, instead of listening to my gut, and trying it online first, I just went ahead and purchased the phone with the payment plan. When I got home, I decide to call att and inquire about this issue of the $299 not being available. I was told point blank that this was not true, and I would have no problem buying it online. They also said that the regional thing didn't exist. So fumed, I head back to the store and tell them what they said. ROWLAND was supposedly at lunch, so I dealt with someone else. I informed her I was lied to, wanted to return the phone, and was not going to pay the $35 restock fee. She then went and got the manager NINO. This knucklehead came out, and I explained to him the issue. He had the nerve and audacity to apologize for the CS reps I talked to on the phone, and told me they don't know what they are talking about and again, perpetrated the lie that the $299 deal was unavailable to this region, and that they can take back the phone, but will charge me the restock fee. I was livid and told him they I wouldn't have purchased the phone if I wasn't lied to. So I returned the phone, and went home and ordered the $299 phone online. I went back to the store with my order confirmation, giving NINO one last chance to refund my money before I file a complaint. He again refused and stated that they never said I couldn't get it online, a complete lie. Thus store is a scam and I would avoid it like the plague. They also removed my unlimited data which I have had for 10 years and have been grandfathered into. Luckily, att fixed that. They could not refund my money because they said they could not see the charge in my file, but we're going to when I called to complain. They said I have to go back to the store. To top this horrible customer service and lie off, I found out from a friend that he went to the Blue Diamond store and bought the phone for the $299 deal, no problem. So much for the regional issue. Bunch of liars. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB and whoever else I can. DON'T TRUST THIS STORE, ESPECIALLY NINO! Zero stars but they're making leave one. Update: filed a complaint with BBB, forwarded to ATT in Atlanta who refunded my money. I hope they investigate the store further.
