The place has such potential as it is a beautiful location. The building is clean and seems to be newly renovated, the landscaping is perfect for the desert. That unfortunately is where the great feeling for El Charro ends. The bartender was short tempered and didn't seem to like people or her job. We all seemed like an inconvenience to her. She preferred to huddle with the other servers and gossip rather than serve drinks. The food was mediocre. I had the burrata and tomato salad. It is prime tomato season and they were flavorless and underripe. I was surprised they were served. The truffle fries were something I would expect to see from a Chili's or TGI Friday's. The rest of the meal followed suit. The plates were expensive for the quality which was lacking.
