Catfish is the best thing here. I've been disappointed with the brisket a couple times now. Learned that the meat is better earlier in the day and gets tougher to chew as time goes on. Cornbread was basically stale and tasted like it was made days ago. We got one on the house for it being the end of the night and a long wait. Whoopdidoo. Maybe throw in something you know will be good? I have been here several times, and it seems to have gotten worse with every visit. It's been months now with the credit/debit card machine down and hand-written bum signs that read "cash only". Every visit is a trial and error with the cashier figuring out the register for how to properly ring in an order. How is a legit business able to do that and why would they want to? Word of advice to the owner- get your business in professional and proper order and it will do much better. I hope it does. I grew up on southern food and want this place to stay around, but needs some improvement. In the meantime, I'll make my own cornbread and get brisket elsewhere.
