I CANNOT STAND THIS COMPANY! They do not care about their tenants. There have been many issues with this home once we moved in in 2014.
The issue that has led me to yelp their asses is My family has been without a microwave for 2 weeks! During the teacher strike to make things worse. My children were not able to warm their food up. When I spoke to a property manager I was told a micro isn't a necessity. TO YOU MAYBE! But to my school aged children that are too young to use a stove or oven, it is!
It was a back and forth game for TWO WEEKS with maintenance and management. YES! They sound good on the phone, like they really are concerned. But it's all BS. ALLLLLLL BUUUULLL!
Paint jobs, electrician jobs done prior our move in, faulty appliances! They're a joke. And I say this because the tech that showed up to "fix" the micro, looked at breakers and tested and said that the inspector for invitation homes should have caught! HA! Very good at covering up the bad to reel you in under a joke of a contract! But they sure do expect this place to look brand new once we're out. They expect every stain on all carpets, scuffs on baseboards even! Are supposed to be nowhere in sight when we leave this place or else our $2400 security deposit will not be given back, "read the contract" they say. It's crazy the stuff this company gets away. Our rent has gone up from $975 a month to $1600 a month in a matter of four years. Supposedly due to the value of this property rising!
I'm just really upset and venting, I just got off the phone with some women who was very rude and insulting and all she gave me was since a micro is not a necessity, we'll have to wait I'm sure if it were her children or home that has gone without she could've figured something out! My advice to you everyone out there is DO NOT EVER RENT FROM INVITATION HOMES. There was a lot more reviews on here that had lots of bad reviews but now there nowhere to be seen. Lol. Anyway, sorry if I don't make sense... but you get the gist my fellow yelpers
Update: STILL NO MICRO! April 27th to date... please tell me again how concerned you are Invitation Homes?
