  • Charlotte has many churches. They are either extremely progressive & almost too casual. I really don't want to go to a pop/rock concert on Sunday morning. Or you walk into what feels like an Amish funeral. Rarely do you find a happy medium where you can praise God in a comfortable setting. This church is my happy place. I went in very cautiously, as I was afraid of the "Cult of Elevation" vibe. I have found this place extremely warm, inviting & filled with people from all backgrounds, races, cultures, incomes, & even religions. I love this! Pastor Derwin Gray is very relatable & takes scripture & applies them to the everyday struggles of modern day life. Oh, & he's hilarious! He has me rolling all the time. They offer 4 different times of worship on Sunday: 521 Location (Not far from Ballantyne. A few miles down the road from Walmart on 521.) 3 options -Sunday, 8:30, 10:00, & 11:45 am 1 Option-TC Rock Hill Sunday, 10:30 am Or tune in on their website to hear sermons wherever & whenever you feel like it. Please come worship with us.
