  • Last Friday I decided to try Fidel Gastro's for lunch as they were parked at the Food Truck Alley. I opted for the Sgt Slather sandwich and pad thai fries. The sandwich was really tasty. It was a good size for lunch time with a lot of flavour to it. The fries were great. Adding hot sauce, lime, bean sprouts and cilantro to fries seems like a strange idea, but it really works. The fries were also cooked nice and crispy. I don't think the taste is quite pad thai like, but they are delicious. Can't wait to eat here again.
