  • Mortons Steakhouse, a classic staple in Yorkville. I've always enjoyed this restaurant...great service...delicious steaks and pricey menu. When you come to Mortons you know you're not Going to walk out with a cheap bill, however it's well worth the money. Tonight with a group of 15 people we dined upstairs in the private room...I got the chance to try a variety of items. Started with their famous Tuna TarTar tower... Explosive flavored by beware a bit spicy. Also ordered the shrimp cocktails... Yes it only comes with 4/5 shrimps but man they are H U G E! The best shrimp in the world. Next the bread the brought to the table was fresh, hot and delish. Honest.. I could've made a meal out of the bread. Alright now listen if you're ever going to share a steak with someone order the porter house... You will not regret it. It was melt in your mouth better than Jacob & Co. Also had the crab cakes-- wouldn't order them again ...they were fishy. Tried the braised beef.. Very delish. ANYWAYS if you have room in your tummy for dessert you have to get the classic chocolate lava cake. Mortons is for special occasions... Book a table.
