Hubby and I went here for an early wedding anniversary brunch! We were both so excited to try it, and it did not disappoint.
We both started with the bloody mary bar, Titos for me, Old Bay vodka for him. We had a lot of fun building our bloody marys and we both ended up with pretty loaded glasses. So you know that is a sign of a good BM bar. I liked the pickled options, it was a nice addition to the saltiness of the drink. And their blood mary mix was sooo good!!
For an appetizer we got the fried green tomatoes that were cooked perfectly! The pimento cheese spread sealed the deal! Such a crunchy, savory bite!
I had the lobster roll because it was prepared just the way I like, with tons of butter. Lobster rolls made with mayo bases are for the birds! It was one of the best lobster rolls I've ever had. Perfect balance of everything and the lobster chunks were HUGE!!
Hubby got the fried shrimp po boy and loved it so much. The shrimp was "fried" perfectly. Not covered in a ton of breading, but still had amazing flavor.
We can't wait to go back for dinner sometime! Our only complaint and thing we'll do different is not having our waitress. She was pretty disengaged and didn't even explain the blood mary bar to us, or seem like she liked us. Can't win 'em all! :)
