Absolute delight across from Frick Park.
Warm and intimate décor inside with an option to dine outdoors on their patio facing the front of the establishment (roadside). It was threatening rain so we dined inside. Waitstaff greeted us promptly and courteously. There are so many menu options that look great so we'll have to make many trips back to partake. There are quite a few starters/appetizers to choose from that would be great for sharing. This trip though, my husband and I selected entrees and both of us decided on the same one -- the lamb kabob over rice with a small salad on the same plate and warm bread in a common dish. Every single morsel was eaten on both of our plates. It was crazy good. The lamb was as tender as could be and everything on our plate was colorful and full of flavor. Sitting here writing this, I can still taste it and this is several days later. That is just how memorable it was.
Some additional notes of interest -- YELP held an event here this Spring in its back room and it was a magnificent event with an outlay of all kinds of food to try. The owner was as gracious and kind as any I've ever met, giving us information on what we were eating, but more importantly telling us about himself and business. He truly wanted us to be there and it showed then and it showed in this visit with the professionalism of his staff, the looks of the place, and the care with which the food was prepared.
I can't wait to come back!
FYI: It's BYOB, parking is on the street, and prices are very reasonable.
