| - I've been to the Escape Zone 3 times so far. I've done the Black Room, Treble in the Studio, and also the Billiard Room Murder. My group completed the Black Room, but haven't mastered any of the other rooms! They're hard!! Not really appropriate for kids under 10, I would say (due to difficulty level). The puzzles are fairly well-made, although the rooms do have some wear on them.
We went for the Billiard room this weekend, and the place was freezing! Since I've been here before, I know it's not normally like this, but it did make the experience less enjoyable. I heard one of the employees tell another employee that it was only 2 degrees in the place. To their benefit, they did put a space heater in the room while we were in there.
There are a few different ways to get discounts when you go to Escape Zone. If you go with a group of 4, then there is a coupon available (sitting at the front desk), that will give you the admission of 1 person free. If you are a student, there is a $3 discount. If you check in on Facebook, there is another 2-3$ discount. This definitely makes for a fun and different date. Would recommend a group of 4 for all of the rooms that I did.
