I've brought my dog here sporadically over the years, mostly for boarding, since he's a senior Bulldog who doesn't have a ton of energy to burn anyway. Since they've changed to be Park9 Dogs, I've noticed a significant decline in the service from the folks who work there since it switched. I'm truly not a fussy dog owner.
This past holiday weekend, we left our dog there for 4 nights. I left his medication with clear written instructions in a bag along with his updated immunization records. These include pain and eye meds so he can attempt to play with the other dogs. Upon pick up, the instructions and his immunization records were missing and it was clear by watching him limp on the webcam all weekend and his irritated eyes that he had not received meds through his stay. The staff had no idea what happened to the papers and offered no apology.
Our dog somehow picked up a stomach bug (hey, it happens when there's lots of dogs!) but I insisted that nothing be given to him as he is mildly epileptic, reacting to changes in his food. They gave him Pedialyte and probiotics without asking or telling me until asked at pick up, and they were flippant about disobeying my orders. I was shocked at the staff's attitude.
Lastly, we asked them to do a bath and nail trim before we picked him up. He somehow smelled worse than when we dropped him off.
The facility looked awesome, and it seemed like a good idea at the time. I cannot recommend anyone with a dog that requires any care or attention use Park9/UrbanDog for boarding. Be careful!
