  • It's always a hit or miss with Hertz at airports. Being a Gold member, it is frustrating to have to wait in a line to get my car (and the past four times I've rented form them at the Pittsburgh airport, my cars have not been all that great). This week, however, they gave me a Toyota Corolla that smelled so bad like smoke that I was unable to drive it without the windows down (it was lucky enough to be in the 60's in Pittsburgh this week, otherwise I wouldn't have been a happy camper!). I gave them 2 stars though, because the rental car lot is right across the street from baggage claim, so it is very convenient that there is no shuttle needed to get to the rental car facility. The Hertz at this location is okay, but I've had much better.
