  • My co-worker goes to Tempe LifetimeFitness, and told me to check this place out. I live in Scottsdale so I and my sister visited Scottsdale Lifetime today( 5/01/15). The guide ( Eliese) who was assigned to introduce this place was nice and explained programs and membership fees. The membership fee was almost twice more expensive than tempe one so we decided to think more about joining the facility. Instead of joining right away, we requested her to show us facility to look around to consider. And then one of her manager (a middle aged lady without introducing her name) showed up and started talking to me and my sister. I was so shocked to listen to her and couldn't believe Lifetime Scottsdale hired such a person as a manager. Her manners handle the first time customers were so rude and even harassing. I couldn't believe myself listening to her nonsense. First she was asking which area I would like to focus at lifetime, and I must know what I want exactly. I told her the same reasons and my interests I told to Eliese. Then she said this place was not like a museum to show anybody around, and we had to tell her what exact areas we were interested so she will consider to show around. Secondly as for the membership fees, She said Scottsdale Lifetime is like Saks Fifth to compared to Tempe Lifetime like J C Penny. After this experience, we lost our interests to join this place, and decided to let people know about our experience with this manager. It was unbelievably horrible and unforgettable experience. Lifetime Scottsdale should re-visit and review customer service quality not to harass customers as we experienced today.
