I'm as surprised as anyone that Loblaws managed to swing a deal with the fabled Maple Leaf Gardens to turn it into a gigantic grocery store. It still pays homage to its hockey roots by using the old stadium seats to make art inside the store.
I'm pleased with the tea emporium which has everything form yerba mate to powdered green tea matcha (with knowledgeable staff to help you). There's also an enormous wall of cheese that would make any cheese lover go googly-eyed.
Lots of endless rows of spacious, squeaky clean aisles. I could just wander around the store just for kicks.
