  • +/- Food + Vanilla Latte + Service + Ambience/Atmosphere They have a well oiled machine here, the hosts/hostesses, servers, and busboys were efficient and quick! Came here Sunday morning around 9, a nice little wait (20-30 min) because of the number of people, and possibly because a spring training game later in the afternoon. Pro-tip (something I observed), if the host asks how many people you have and you say 4 adults and one toddler, that's still considered 5 people. Host won't seat you any sooner because your toddler stopped being a person, and you'll waste less time than having a 1-2 minute back and forth with the host about "really just have 4 people and a toddler"; also people behind you won't be as annoyed. But it provided me thorough entertainment. So what we are really all here for is the food. I would say solid choice and a large menu of a variety of things to choose from. I ordered a vanilla latte and Eggington omelette, subbing the English muffin for a blueberry English style muffin (25 cents extra if you do this, or so it says on my bill). The vanilla latte was nice and it's something I would order again. I'm not a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur; I'm a Starbucks fan. So if you have a Starbucks palate you'll like the vanilla latte. On to the food, the omelette was covered in hollandaise sauce with cream cheese sitting on top. I wasn't sure what to do with the cream cheese so I tried to spread it around but ended up putting some on the potatoes, which is an awesome combination by the way. The omelet was stuffed with a lot of broccoli, some large uncooked mushroom, and small amounts of chicken. I might have gotten a fluke because of the rush and the multiple large tables around. I would have preferred the broccoli and mushrooms to be chopped smaller and mushrooms cooked longer. I had a couple raw mushrooms because of the size and I'm personally not a fan of raw mushrooms in cooked/warm food. I enjoyed the omelet even with its pitfalls, but I would like to try something else in the future. I can't provide a review for the muffin because I was too full to even eat it. Ended up taking it to go but it looks and smells delicious. Setting is nice, I like decorations, the fresh flowers on the table, and the carafe of water on the table. I think the main selling point was the service. My server was AWESOME, attentive even though he had a large table and many more to attend to, I noticed him running around a lot tending to many tables. Generally single diners are forgotten and left on their own but wow! Everyone was so nice and really did what they could to get the process streamlined with the number of people waiting. I enjoyed the food here, and would love to come back to try their other items. I think they need to create a formalized wait list versus having it on multiple legal pads.
