  • Sadly, THIS LOCATION IS NOW CLOSED. The paper says they are looking for a new building but, between rent and maintenance they were losing money at the Mattis location. Too bad. It was large portions of good, basic food at reasonable prices in a pleasant atmosphere where, should you come alone, usually you could find one or two people you knew well enough to talk with. Not fine dining, but good, wholesome, tasty meals. The kind of place you might remember as commonplace a half century ago. Not many left.
