  • Bad food and awful service = we'll never go back. Four of us went out for a birthday dinner and could not wait to get out. Allow me to 'splain... My vegan friend asked the waiter if the chef could make a vegan entree for him. He said, "I trust the chef to plate a nice meal, so just ask him to put together something nice." The waiter responded with, "Hmmm, don't you see anything you like on the menu? I mean, I can come back if you want, but the chefs really don't have time for special requests." The VERY expensive crablegs were batter dipped and deep-fried until they had lost all structural integrity. They arrived rubbery, tasteless, and ice cold. The spicy tofu app was a disgusting plate of watery sludge. The waiter was clearly put out that he had to take our orders and, you know, do his job. He NEVER came back to our table without being waived down, and once there he would turn his body away from us, with his head turned back toward us in this weird "I'm just about to run away, but if you talk really, really fast, I may hear one quick request" maneuver. I could go on, but I think you get the point.
