  • I have been to this show twice. The first time I was one of the people randomly selected (by catching a frisbee!) to appear on the stage. My father-in-law was also randomly selected to go on stage as well. We were in a large group so we weren't sitting next to each other but we were in the same row. So I can tell you that most of the people appearing in the show are actual audience members and not plants. Having said that, there are a couple of 'plants' who appear but not in a major way- people walking in late etc. So the first time I saw the show I thought it was good, the kids enjoyed it, everyone in our group was talking about the show afterwards and trying to figure out how the tricks were performed, we were entertained and that's all you can ask for. Fast forward about 2 yrs and I get the opportunity to go again. The show was virtually the same, a couple of different or slightly tweaked illusions. I went with friends who had not seen the show and they had the same reaction I had originally had- entertained and bemused about how the illusions had occurred. In the past we were served snacks and cocktails at our tables, this time those items were available for purchase at the concession at the theatre entrance. My mom is beginning to have trouble with her mobility especially after walking all day. It would have been nice to have a drink with the show but I didn't want to leave her and miss part of the show while out with everyone else getting drinks. So we saved a good $50 bucks by waiting until after the show to go and eat etc. Someone made an unwise business decision there.... Like others have said, the cheesy bit about the parents and the alien is silly and could be taken out of the show. So the upshot is this- Go only once, wait until the show has drastically changed or there will be no 'wow' factor. Buy your tickets at the many Half Price ticket kiosks around the strip. Enjoy yourself.
