  • My friends and I planned a Vegas trip months in advance and chose The Linq because it was right on the strip and they were running a 20% discount special. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a good time. Let me start off with the bad.....the hotel was under construction and my view was the construction site. I was on the 8th floor and it was LOUD. On Monday morning it felt like the ceiling was vibrating! Ok onto everything else....the bathroom door slides shut and there is no way to lock it. The shower has a shampoo, body wash and conditioner dispenser mounted on the wall which is pretty cool. The room has a small refrigerator but no microwave. There is no coffee maker in the room but one of my friends requested coffee and the staff brought a Keurig machine with K-cups and sugar/creamer packets within minutes. The bed is comfortable and if you feel like staying in you can purchase movies on your TV for a mere $17!!!! The phones in the room are cordless and the table lamps have outlets built into them which is convenient. Please note the walls are THIN and you can hear everything in the hallway and next door. My friends are loud and I could hear them in their room when I was 5-7 doors down in the hallway. The hotel has 3 restaurants: Chayo, OSheas, and Hash House. It also connected to the promenade which also has restaurants and little touristy spots. If you have a vehicle the hotel has free valet and a garage for self parking. However, due to construction self parking has all sorts of detours and looks dilapidated. The front desk staff was very friendly and housekeeping was courteous as well. Overall, it's a great hotel. But that construction noise was a bummer. No one wants to wake up to all that after a night of drinking and partying.
