  • I'm a little partial to this airport. As a teenager, it was the very first airport that I flew into. Flying from little bitty LEX, it was a night and day comparison... it still is. The baggage claim and transportation processes are smooth. There were south and north side doors that led to the taxi/transportation area. Each door is numbered, which made it a breeze to figure out which door to exit to get to my shuttle. Upon return, they pulled one of my bags without saying a word. Before I even went through the scanner I spotted my computer bag at the end of the belt. So, when I finally approached my computer bag and my other bag wasn't there, I initially thought that it was missing or someone had taken off with it. No one ever saying "your bag was pulled", after about five minutes I was finally informed that they needed to search my bag. No worries. Just weird that they didn't have the respect to let me know as I exited the scanner or approached my other bag, that the bag that they pulled was in safe hands. Uggg. No southern hospitality here.
