The magician clearly cares and is passionate. That said, we went on a weekend, complimentary tickets, and the back of theater was empty. Compared to the Cirque show the night before, the acrobatic tricks of his side performers were clearly a step down - shaky in their poses, lacked full extension or synchronization. Mr. Goldrake's performance was creative, warm, personable, and sincere. Interacts wonderfully with the audience and introduces wonder, suspense, and humor. In a less competitive venue I believe he would be able to sell out the house? There is a magic shop (great for grandkid gifts) next door and Mr. Goldrake kindly poses for pictures after the show. Bottom line - there is potential for greatness but not yet achieved in 2018.
