  • I really like this place. It's spacious, bright, the barista is really friendly, plenty of seating, there are a few board games and some book shelves around the cafe. And yes, my cappuccino was great (strong and smooth) and I had an ancient grain cookie because they didn't have any Awesomes (their homemade soft oreo cookie) left and I figured I should try to be healthy after a breakfast of bacon, bread and sausages. The cookie was surprisingly good (I thought it was going to be dry) but it was moist and just slightly sweet from the small bits of chocolate chips. It was baked fresh in the morning as with a number of other baked treats. Will be back and hopefully have one of their Awesomes. Note: they also have the Toronto Star available on the communal table for you to read.
