rev:text	How have I lived in the 'Burgh for so long and have never been to D's?! The travesty! We went for beer and hot dogs but, judging by the looks of everyone else, the rest of the menu and drink options are just as good... Let's start with the poppyseed bun...just doesn't get better than that. My hubby and I each ordered multiple dogs - so I was able to sample his as well. The Chicago is gasp just as good as if you were in Chicago. The Chihuahua is like if a hot dog and a taco got married - yum! The Mac'N'Cheese dog weighs 20 pounds but is worth it just for the delicious mac. The Cuban is everything you love about Cubans but in hot dog form. The Angry Tiki was my favorite: pineapple, bacon, hoison, and Double Dip sauce - um, yes please! I'm not a huge fan of the deep-fried/double-fried french fries but they were at least fresh and piping hot. Also, there are plenty of options for kids to eat. Plus, to keep everyone occupied while you wait, there's coloring sheets and TVs everywhere. The beer menu at D's is just as satisfying, with every type and pour size you could imagine. I'm pretty picky with my beers but had no problem finding more than a few that I wanted; and, my hubby is an IPA aficionado and was over the moon to find a Triple on the board. One downside to D's are that it is pretty small on the bar side - and a there's a long wait on the restaurant side. It is also extremely loud and can get warm when it's packed. The only other con, which is more of a symptom of our voluntary gluttony, is you will leave feeling uncomfortably full :) Overall, I LOVED the food at D's - and the bill wasn't that bad either. I highly recommend it for a yummy lunch or dinner and drinks with friends or the whole family!
