| - While at the FS, we thought that a massage would be a nice thing to do, so we visited the newly renovated spa. As we were chatting with the very nice young lady, she convinced us to do a duo massage, both in the same room, which we thought would be nice. So we booked it. When we arrived, we were shown to our respective areas. Nice, clean and indeed new. The area is not opulent, in fact a bit on the stark side. In any event, as my wife and I found ourselves in the quiet waiting area with our robes on, one therapist came out and welcomed my wife and was inviting her to follow. We said, "we understood we signed up for a duo", to which she said, "oh, I don't show that". Well, she went to check and came back sharing that it would be no problem and just a moment for the larger room. Not a problem on this--just a bit of a disconnect.
In the darkened candlelit waiting area, it would be nice to have a tranquil water sound as well.
Anyway, off to the room and the therapists. This is where the Mrs was excellence. We both enjoyed outstanding service and great massages. We really appreciated all of the attention to our otherwise tired and over-partied bodies.
We've had similar massage experiences at Encore, but the spa facility is stunning and over the top as to visual stimulation. I'd say FS Spa is a very nice experience set in a very stratified environment, which is not bad at all. But if you would like to be "wowed" and also have a very nice spa experience--particularly if you were seeking a several hour experience, do so at Wynn/Encore.
