  • Did someone say a FREE comic book festival!? The nerd in me was extremely happy when I saw this event on my Fb. This was the first year attending for me, unfortunately I wasn't able to make to any of the others. It's held at the library which I thought was pretty cool. There is enough parking and if not then you can park on the street. Half of their set up is outside and the other half is inside. Today was extremely windy so the tents outside were having difficulty keeping their stuff on the tables. The festival is not as big as it sounds though, I was definitely expecting a lot more! They had quite a few new artists/writers which were very interesting to talk to. Some vendors were known comic book stores which was cool to see. They also had a couple of food trucks there, nothing too major. It was pizza and burgers I believe. If you pay for the "VIP" ticket which I believe was only 7$ you'll get a couple of extras, including a goodie bag. They tickets were sold out before I could get mine. Here's to hoping it's a bigger event next time (fingers crossed) lol Overall it was a good experience and we had fun! :)
