  • This hotel and its buffet have seen better days! As a Diamond Total Rewards Card member I was not treated as I have been at other Harrahs properties...and even as a regular patron, the food and the service was sub par at best. It took a solid 10 minutes before I saw a waiter for my beverage order. When I asked a passing employee if there were waiters or if soda was available for self service he was gruff and dismissive - simply replying "yes" and walking away. The meats were over cooked, my pork chop being dry and the only option for prime rib being well done. Who serves prime rib well done? No one should! The entire roast at the carving station was either well done or really well done. The food at the buffet looked as if it had been sitting there untouched for hours, and the serving spoons were sticky and dirty- disgusting! When someone behind the buffet was informed of the gross spoons they thanked me but nothing was done about it. They have one male and one female washroom inside the buffet, which was nice because at most casinos you need to leave the buffet to use the casino washroom - unfortunately, it looked like the tiles were falling off the walls and it was not clean. You can tell a lot about the care of a place by its washrooms! We chose this buffet because we saw the 7pm show at Paris, Jersey Boys, which was highly enjoyable. The cost of the dinner buffet with the Total Rewards discount was $30 pp, costing nearly $100 for the three of us after taxes and tip. There are much better dining options...Chipotle next door at Planet Hollywood would have been better than this buffet. I would not suggest this buffet to anyone. One last thing I feet was important to mention...my husband and I each had previous careers in food service, and should have walked out when we noticed 4 I refrigerated quarts of dairy product sitting in the desert sections hand wash sink and the tap dripping on them. It was a big RED FLAG but we didn't want to make the third person with us feel bad because they had selected the restaurant and we had already been present for half an hour. I wonder when their last health inspection was...
