  • We are locals and decided to do a staycation here because of the water park. Overall it was about average. For the price they charge I would say it did not meet expectations. First the rooms, comfy bed and nice bathroom. It was really small though. I've stayed in much bigger rooms at a Hampton Inn before. Obviously no free breakfast at a joint like this as it is one big money grab. Then the Waterpark. I was pretty disappointed. The lazy river was too slow and short. Most of the tubes were flat. There wasn't enough umbrellas so everyone had to fight for shade. The poolside waiters were nice enough to bring around free water pitchers though. It is very spread out too. So when you park strap on your hiking boots because it is far from everything. We've stayed at the squaw peak Hilton and their water park is as good and is not as spread out. Next time we'll save a few bucks and go back there.
